A partnership of elite industry leaders, aimed at empowering African nations to participate in the climate economy and drive sustainable development and substantially impact carbon emissions reduction and climate change mitigation, has been established.

The partnership brings together providers of cutting-edge technology solutions and data analytics, experts in carbon footprint measurement, verification, and certification, experts in identifying and implementing tailored carbon offset projects designed to meet each country’s unique requirements and a leading platform for carbon credit education and accessibility.

The companies in the partnership, RippleNami, Inc., SCS Global Services, Caelum Resources, and Africa Voluntary Carbon Credit Market, all leaders in their respective industries, will provide innovative and comprehensive technological and advisory solutions at a national scale for carbon credits’ sustainable identification, development, certification, issuance, and sales, with complete traceability.

“Under this collaboration, the parties’ comprehensive solutions will encompass carbon footprint assessment, carbon offset project identification and implementation, validation and certification of carbon reduction initiatives, integration of advanced technologies, and facilitation of carbon credit trading to African nations needing strategic national carbon roadmap services,” said Benjamin Chimutengo, CEO of Africa Voluntary Carbon Credit Market.

“Through vital market access and capacity-building initiatives, this partnership drives carbon credit trading, fostering sustainable development across Africa and facilitating a seamless transition towards a low-carbon future,” Chimutengo added.

Jaye Connolly-LaBelle, Chairman and CEO of RippleNami, which will bring cutting-edge technology solutions and unparalleled expertise in data analytics, said the partnership empowers nations to develop effective strategies to capitalize on this emerging market with projects that will develop a strong middle class and necessary infrastructure investments while combating climate change.

“RippleNami is honored to spearhead this transformative partnership, embodying our unwavering commitment to innovation,” said Connolly-LaBelle.

The Executive Vice President of SCS Global Services Stanley Mathuram said the SCS Global Services will bring to the partnership expertise in carbon footprint measurement, verification, and certification.

“SCS Global Services guarantees the actual value of carbon credits and supports additional technologies like carbon sequestration measurement by offering methodologies developed under UN-approved protocols,” he said.

Caelum Resources, another of the companies in the partnership, with extensive knowledge of Africa, will bring a wealth of experience to the partnership.
“Our expertise is instrumental in identifying and implementing tailored carbon offset projects designed to meet each country’s unique requirements,” said Kyalo Muambi, Co-Founder of Caelum Resources.

The groundbreaking partnership is expected to establish a comprehensive national system that seamlessly integrates all stakeholders, empowering nations to prosper from an emerging market while providing transparency and traceability to markets and accountability to local communities.
